After reading the current article, Which is mainly about retails vs digital stores, and how retail hate steam for beating them in pc sales yet all this time that gamestop and other retails have abused pc gaming badley. THe result is sad, such as the removal of awesome A+ pc games from their stores, such as Deus-ex human revolution. YOU started this, YOU marginalised PC games, YOU took away their shelf space and shoved them into a tiny corner of a store, YOU charged silly and frankly uncompetitive prices for them, now YOU have to take the consequences.
I will NEVER purchase a game from GAME UK again - if I want to buy a game I get it from Amazon or Steam. Steam is holding PC gaming together, proving a community for the players and a very convenient store service. If stores like Gamestop and Game hadn't chucked PC games onto a tiny shelf in a dark corner of the shop when Xbox 360 and PS3 came out then they wouldn't be in this position. Instead this just seems like they're unhappy that another system is selling PC games in a far more effective way than they are.

"gamestop should just die and I can't believe that in the UK retailers can hold off games being released on steam. That is just outrageous. All these companies like gamestop abandoned PC games when xbox and ps3 came out. We were shunned as a market cause of our size. Valve comes in and revolutionizes pc gaming believing in the market all these years and its cause of them that pc gaming is growing exponentially today and it is what it is. Now these companies wanna come in to take some of the pie. FUCK THEM! GAMESTOP and all these asshole stores, I am not buying crap from you, including origin and impulse. BF3 I bought from D2d so origin can suck it, I still have to use origin but they didn't get as much of the pie as they could have if i bought from origin. Right now the only respectable digital services, are direct2drive, greenmangaming, steam and GOG. All the others can suck it. Don't think we are like console gamers that we buy into anything. You can shove off and get out of market cause steam and few good digital services is all we need. Services like impulse and origin are now just getting in the way. Who are they to come into this market and act like the big guys when they are newcomers hoping to get the extra cash and nothing else?"
These guys are legends! PC gaming is not dead, steam is the best thing to happen to pc gaming, so yes, retail, eat sh!t and die!
