The Safe Haven

Hello there

I have just started a new blog on tumblr called: The Safe Haven

It’s a blog for those who want to help people and make people happy with ways to cheer people up.

Its for those who see someone who is sad and goes over to them and does their very darn best to make them smile.

Not only is it for you to helping others but also helping yourself with  any problems you may have. To help you get through and be able to keep making the world a better place.

I started it because I wanted to be able to help people. I am not a trained physiologist, I have not done a university degree, but I do care, I care a lot and if I can help one person. If I can make that person feel better even slightly then I am happy.

It would mean a lot to me if you could check the blog out, show me some support by following or commenting on it and show it to your friends so it can help as many as it can.

Stay happy

As always you can always send me a private message or shoot me a email either here on blog spot or on tumblr. You can also send me a email at MiskaMaskedOne@gmail.com

Stay safe.

Life well

Black Mesa: Source!!! Release Date set for 14th of September!

Can you believe? The actual Black Mesa Source, That Mod that has been in development for years and years, remaking half life 1 from the ground up in the new source engine... is ACTUALLY COMING OUT...(hopefully, if it turns out to be a trailer... damn... the jimmies will be rustling)

Check out the Time they have at their current site right now: http://www.blackmesasource.com/

This is the closest thing we'll have to Half life 3 so far... SO LETS GET THE HYPE TRAIN MOVING

UPDATE: Apparently its not the full game (Black Mesa Forums);

This will include our re-envisioning of Half-Life all the way up to Lambda Core.

We are still working hard on Xen and BMDM, but instead of making you wait we are giving you Black Mesa as soon as it's ready!

But oh well, We can live with that for now, its still going to be amazing! (although Im not sure if I should wait for the full game to play it, who knows, i may just end up playing the original again)

Cant Believe its Counter-Strike, Time to Mann Up!

Hey Guysziziziaisi (spell check picks that as 'nonspecializing')..... its me, taking alittle break from Study, let you know of what Ive been up to recently.

Two Things: Team Fortress 2 Mann v Machine, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive

Ive been playing both recently, yes, Team Fortress 2, Ive actually gotten round to playing it this year for once. It was always the game I knew i could go back to, but with this new update, its a given, I have to now dedicate 200 more hours to this wonderful game for its amazing new co-op. It truly is. Ive been playing through it with a few friends, and its so much fun! One problem, its CHALLENGING!!! Unless you have good strategies [I always delegated myself as the engie, got a few engie buddies and used my wrangler sentry escape tactic, probably the reason we did so well ahahaha, oh stop it you] and AT LEAST 5 players (or, as cheaply as it is... all engineers..), your gonna have a hard time. Ive got heaps of strategies as ive completely all maps, and even Mann works on Advanced, so far, but Once year 12 is over, I'll go ahead and give some money to valve to play these tour of duties and make some decent videos (I believe its worth the cost, its free in the fist place, and AMAZING). Another thing to look forward to

This was when I won the Advanced map, Oh my, I was laughing like crazy, this is some hard shit (needed 3 engies)

But so far, there is one other game Ive been playing. One that I never thought I would enjoy, one that sprang out of nowhere (well, I did buy it because of the low price... and the TF2 Sniper hehehe), CS:GO! Seriously, I played the old counter-strike quite a bit (source, obviously), and i could never get into it, I know its skill level is insanly high, you need to know what the fcuk you are doing, AFTER you've been a n00b for 200 hours (at least). But CS:GO, well, its not much different, but its different enough to be much more enjoyable. I seem to love the movement, the guns, the hit boxes, and even the graphics are nice. Best part is, this is a comeptitive shooter, if I can spend years training myself on this, I can get good, and I CAN be actually very good at first person shooters. w00t! Going to LAN parties and owning would be a nice feel. But for now, i just play deathmatch when ever I get the chance (considering I dont get much free time in year 12). And the best part its, its not old, its new. Playing counters-strike was mildly difficult simply because I had missed its prime, sure its ok now, but playing an up-to-date shooter thats competitively built and amazing, its not a bad feel, not a bad feel at all. (In future generations, I can brag that I actually pre-ordered this awesome thingy....or...not..)

There was this one guy, called BOT Frank who was owning me, I made it my life goal to hunt him down, I always thought he was cheating... until this moment... if only pinkie was around to see my smile >:D

Thats it for now, these are the two games Ive been playing recently, and will probably keep playing for the next few weeks. I plan to watch Ano Hana as my term ends (I get some free time before my exam study :D ) and tell you guys about it then.  But until then, stay safe, relaxed, pill oh bill.

Mad Wold

The following is an extra verse I wrote last year for the song mad world. I really love the song and when I have time I like to sit down by the piano to play and sing along to that magical song.
Its one of the few songs that can almost make me cry just by hearing it.

All around me are familiar faces
Family faces
Crying faces

It's in their eyes and all on their faces
That expression
Sad expression

It's like their trying to fight a losing battle
Over whelming
Over whelming

They tried their best but they have no solution
No solution
I'm pollution

Poetry :)

Heya Internet

I have recently started writing poetry again at www.blankink.blogspot.com

I have two new poems up and a third going up tonight called: Anger, Fear , Sadness

the other two poems are very out of character ... O.O they are HAPPY :) YAAY

and are both on the topic of Love

the poem going up tonight is in a very different style to what i usualy write. It has three lines

per stanza instead of four and the second, third and fourth stanza's are based off the one line

of the first.

Any how

I am very short of time atm (avoiding studdying) so i will get my game reviews done when i have

enough time to.

Till then

Enjoy the poetry

Mass Effect 1 First Impressions

Well i have finaly got back to playing M.E 1
After all the excitment about Mass Effect 3 coming out i was very excited to start playing the first game in the series every one was raving about.

My first thoughts (and i am still very early on in the game) are that it is only so so .

let me first of all say: I rarly play rpg's. the last rpg i played was K.O.T.O.R 1 probably about 4-5 years ago. all i have been playing since are fps and the likes so thus is a new experience for me

i compleatly understand i am not far enough into it to pass judgment on it yet. The whole squad combat is confusing and im dont entirely understand it. you have team mates who follow you but are i do not understand what happens when they run out of health. its not directly explained... what i have gathered is that when you kill all the enamies in the area they stand back up on minimal health.

The whole power/ abilities sort of thing just seems clunky. To use your powers you have to hold space which pauses the game and kind of takes you out of the moment.

im enjoying the rpg aspects and cant say im not enjoying the game but i was definantly expecting more from it.  I will keep playing as im interestred to see how it plays out. it kinda reminds me of Knights of the old republic.

what has anoyed me is the save points. Often (as i am still ajusting from my usual fps gaming style) i am dying and usualy in a fps you almost instantly respawn from your last checkpoint about 30 seconds earlier. In MA 1 often i would have a long distance to travle or a cutseen to watch before i got back to where i was before i died. That took alot of enjoyment out of my game

i have alot more MA 1 to play so i will keep you uptodate with how it goes. i have been very negative with what i have said here but i have still been enjoying it dispite my small problems with it. i am the type of person who will finish a game once i have started unless the game is truely woefull enough then i just ditch it asap.

it would really make my day

thanks <3
